All righty here are my Disney layouts I did over the weekend.  A lot of them where very involved I did a lot of paper piecing.  They turned out so good but were time consuming but I am ready to do some more.  I will load the wedding layouts I completed later.

Tinkerbell cricut cartridge I cut the embellishments out a piece of cardstock and  added stickles

Mickey and Friends cartridge

mickey and friends

I did not get all of the pictures on this one. I did not have them all printed but I am cutting the pictures on my cricut to match the photo mats.  George and Basic Shapes and Mickey and Friends

I used the paisley embossing folder to add texture to the photo mats and  2 different border punches

I used a border punch to create the looping line in the middle I had to trim  it very close to just get the loops.  The  banners are the pennant punch by Stampin Up

this was done using Lyrical Letters for the title the mermaid tail is from Paper Dolls the water splash are from the Yummy Cricut Imagine, Seahorses and starfish are from Life is a Beach

I love this Mickey I used the Mickey and Friends CC I got the bandana from Paper Dolls I used my Gypsy to match up the sizes.  I freehand the patch and added some bling.

I got the boat wheel from Life is a beach and the map and the treasure chest from  Paper Dolls I embossed the  wheel with Distressed Stripes embossing folder

this is my Tinkerbell I paper pieced from the Tinkerbell  CC

cardz tv challenge anything goes challenge #6

This is one of the layouts I did this weekend.  I only had 2 photos so this was a simple layout.  all of the cuts are from Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge.  The clouds are made from one of the tree cuts I crimped them to give them some texture.  I cut the sun after it was on the corner of the layout.  I did the journaling before I cut the tree top out.  This is gives your journal boxes and pictures an awesome look.  It takes some practice and patience but it looks great.  The paper piecing is a little time consuming but the end results look great.

Yeah thought I might need to get our Disney book from 2009 done since we are talking about going back this summer.  I don't think I will take as many pictures the next time LOL!!  But there was so much to see and do!!!

crazy week upcoming pictures

Ok what a crazy week.  Started off with a bang.  For those of you who do not know my son ended up in
Vanderbilt medical in Nashville TN on monday after a ATV accident.  He is doing fine he was there primarily for observation.  So I had no time to get ready for this weekend.  But I did have a great time got 30 something pages done.  I will be taking pictures tomorrow and posting and seeing what I can get in the some challenges.

This was my scrappy friend this evening!!!

Ok so it is back to work for me in the AM.  Not sure how I will feel tomorrow so might not post so I did some cute stuff today!!!  My friend Jackie (HI Jackie)  started scrapbooking today.  She did some really cute stuff for her first time ever.  She did go nuts at Micheals today but we have all done it before.  (don't lie you know you have) We then had to stop at Hobby Lobby this evening and I got some new albums they were 50% off and yes I needed them.  I realized when I needed one piece of red just longer than all my scraps that I have no red paper.  I am going to a crop next weekend and no time to order any Stampin Up so I had to buy some red.  Well I got lost in the paper aisle and yes found more to add to my stash.  (Sorry honey)   I also added to Jackie's much needed essentials (at least that is what we told her husband HEHEHE!!).  It was a small haul but got a new embossing folder and a new 8x8 paper pack by 7 gypsies.  Did I need this no but oh my it was too stinking cute!!!   Anyway here are the layouts I completed today I hope you enjoy!!!

This was the Wild Child page that my Hobby Lobby had a layout on a free design sheet.  The original was done in red and yellow.  I made it pink for my daughter the 5 is cut out of  Plantin Schoolbook.

This is the second page of the layout these are Rayna"s Cheer pictures for this year Upward cheer squad  the Cuties!!!  The stickers are Recollecions.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border.

This is the first page of the layout!!! I used the Sure Cuts a Lot program to cut out the letters!!  Unfortunately the new version of this program does not work with the Cricut nor does the new Cricut Expressions or Imagine work with this program either.
Well I did not get back on to post anything last night.  I took my parents there cards and went to see my niece. I did not create a layout, but I did get one out that I had done for a swap years ago and finally added pictures to it.  I did this layout during the bad ice storm that we had here.  I had cut all the pieces ahead of time so all I had to do was glue them together.  I was quite proud of myself for not having electricity at the time these were completed.

Before I did this project I did attend Rayna's Valentine party at school.  Here is her working on her project and with her favorite teacher Mrs Brockman.  She got tons of Valentines and everyone loved her box.

she ate so many cookies her stomach hurt!!!

This is a card I made

this was made with Create a Critter cartridge on my Imagine.  I emobossed the top of the nut with Tim Holtz Burlap embossing folder.

Happy Valentines Day to all!!!  I love Valentines Day but I feel like it should be like this all year long!!  My husband is upset that he did not send me flowers or get me anything for today.  I told him he could just get me something when he comes home. He is a river worker so he misses a lot of holidays.  So what do I want?  I will have to think about that.  I only made one card today, and I will post it later.  I did make heart shaped cake pops today.  I gave them to some girls at work and they were so excited (and then left quickly because they were having a bad day and I did not have time to stay and help).  So I hope you enjoyed.  I am going to try and get a layout done today I think I will make it love related since I have all my heart and Valentine stamps out why not.  I will post my works later.

Scrapping Layouts from the past

Ok here are some of my layouts I have done in the past.  I have so much to do still and I am going to a weekend retreat soon.  I am so excited I will blog some of my layouts from that.

I used my gypsy to make this chipboard embellishment.  the gold is heat embossing using a stamp. the lettering I used the cricut markers
This was such a fun page.  I used a scallop punch to to make the teeth marks I welded the letters together on my gypsy.  my ship  was cut on the cricut and distressed.

I love this alligator it is from Animal Kingdom cartridge then I embossed it and add some ink.The mats are embossed and inked as well.

I made this background paper using a stamp from Stampin Up called Circle Circus and Chocolate Chip Ink.  the ribbon is also from Stampin Up.
I cut the giraffee out of the picture with an craft knife and the girafee in the middle was put together using 2 seperate pictures. I really like how it turned out.
I cut the elephant out of a piece of cardstock and the cut the border off the same paper.  The small circle embellishment is also from the backside of the same paper that I cut out with a circle punch.  I cut the middle elephant out in a circle then added a red background then cut the edges of the 3 pictures away

I made the tickets on this page by heat embossing this stamp then using a ticket corner punch to make the tickets.
All of these embellishments are homemde.  I cut the animals off of Animal Kingdom.  I made the golf balls out of circle punch and then embossed with Swiss Dots embossing folder.

The arrows were cut off of Accent Essentials S

This is the card I made for the Cardz TV challenge #101 and Wacky Wednesday Challenge #64 Love.I used my Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge.  I just love this cute little mouse.

                                                               Cassie- Create a Critter
These are my kids Valentine boxes.  I did get the idea from another crafter online.  I used my Cricut to cut out all of the embellishments.  the boxes are made with heavy duty cardstock the boy one is 12X12 for the top scored all the way around and scored 2in all the way around.  You then cut to make tabs to fold in and make your box. The bottom half of the box is a matching piece of cardstock at 11 3/4 x 11 3/4 and scored at 2in all the way around.  All the circles were cut using the Cricut.  Use a strong liquid adhesive.
green nose piece 2 1/2 inces

2 white pieces cut at 2 1/2 inches

Hello again!!!

Hello again.  I think I might have the hang of this now,  but to be on the safe side I have a friend that is going to help me improve my blogging.  I am always searching for ways to improve my crafting and find creative ways to improve my scrapbooking layouts and other papercrafts.  So I hope that I can put something on here that will inspire someone.  I hope to do some series on how to use some of the tools of the trade that I use.  I will be doing some videos and just step by step videos to teach.  That is another thing you will find is I love to share my ideas and teach someone else about them and how to do them.  So if you every have questions just let me know and I will try and answer them the best I can.
